International Webcast with Helga Zepp-LaRouche:

Now Comes the Euro-Bailout Referendum!

March 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm EDT*

Current events – though seemingly unconnected and yet derived from the same dynamic process – are playing out in rapid succession. An ever-growing number of institutional circles from around the world are beginning to react to the immediate danger of an outbreak of what this time would amount to a new, thermonuclear World War. Now, Representative Walter Jones of the United States Congress has introduced a resolution [House Concurrent Resolution 107] that sends a resounding warning-shot in the direction of President Obama, and is potentially the first step of impeachment proceedings against said President.

The venomous attacks from certain circles in the West against newly-elected Russian President Putin, must be seen as build-up propaganda for war, being circulated at the same time that, in this very West, Democracy is in danger of being buried and supplanted by dictatorship. We see a new element being brought into the strategic situation, with French Presidential Candidate Jacques Cheminade's recent signature gathering victory, the result of which will determine whether the potential fate of humanity is its extinction, or whether it lies in a new world order based on the power of human reason and creativity.
